  • Unfair sale practices

    I have two full wicker seating sets, a dining set and two chaise lounges that I purchased from Pier One over the past 5 years and I enjoy changing out my cushions quite frequently. Each time you have a significant sale on your outdoor furnishings I have tried to purchase Calliope products and half of them are not available online and not available in the areas near myself, my three kids or my sister - who live all over the US. What am I going to do with a half order of cushions? Why should I have to pay full price because you can't manage your stock? I know this isn't an... More...

  • Profiling

    A sales lady at Pier 1 Imports followed my daughter and me all the time we were at there store. I turned around and asked what she wanted, she said rudely "oh nothing" as we were close to the door she told us have a good day. I informed her we were not ready to leave and had not finished shopping. I could have made a scene, but my daughter told me to forget it. I know this sales lady was profiling us. Strange though, I am 74 years of age and my daughter is 54 and both of us are disabled. Hardly shop lifters...if you get the picture. Any how, I thought this type of discrimination... More...

    I wonder if perhaps someone could explain why your Canadian website (once one FINDS IT) is so difficult to maneuver and so far off from being user friendly? I honestly called my local store to inquire about a price, to find out that although I was quite sure I was in the .ca site, seemingly I was not and had to be walked through it. The sales staff was exceptional and was also perplexed by why there is such an enormous different in the two sites.
